What to expect at your chiropractic visit:
Have you ever heard the saying, "Give a man a fish, and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can feed himself for a lifetime?"
Our office is about empowerment, and education. When you take the time to educate yourself as to what is causing your health complaint, you are more empowered to correct the problem and create more healing from within.
Your first chiropractic visit:
Your initial visit consists of a complete health history consultation, followed by a very thorough physical, neurological, and orthopedic examination. Your doctor of chiropractic may request x-rays of certain areas of the spine to determine if there is any arthritis, degenerative changes or spinal decay. From this visit your chiropractor will be able to determine if chiropractic care is right for you.
Your second chiropractic visit:
Your next visit will be your new practice member orientation! This may be done in either a group or individual format. This visit outlines different strategies for you to benefit most from your chiropractic care; topics on health of your nervous system and spine will be covered. There will also be tips to manage stress in your life, therefore allowing your body to heal from within. Your doctors of chiropractic will explain your x-ray results with you personally, and how arthritis, osteoarthritis, and spinal decay can be helped, prevented and minimized with regular chiropractic care.
At this point, you and your family will be able to choose where you want go with your chiropractic healthcare. You are the boss and we are here to serve you in your quest for health, and wellness.
Your third chiropractic visit:
The next visit and visits to follow are your regular adjustment visits. These visits are very quick, but very important. Each visit your doctor of chiropractic will check your entire spine for subluxation, always making sure that your spine is free of subluxation by the time you leave.
Each adjustment visit builds on the next one, and the care plan that your chiropractor recommends is always built to give you maximum benefit, and to allow your body what it needs to create the healing response.
Progress Examinations:
These visits are performed at regular intervals, and are extremely important in determining the progress of your healing, and where your specific care plan is headed.
Your doctor of chiropractic may give certain exercises, stretches or home care for you do perform at home, or at the gym. These recommendations will speed up and enhance your healing process, giving maximum benefits to the regular adjustment schedule.
